150 9/8/2021 5:37:00 AM Spring 1862 Confederate Message Flipped PC at Louisville, St. Louis, and Grafton.
Took 1 SP of attrition at Grafton and Louisville
149 8/20/2021 10:59:00 AM Spring 1862 Union Message Assuming that the 2SP in Delaware are in supply, here's my PC and Attrition phase:
Flip PC in Wilmington, DE
Normal attrition in DC: -1 SP
Foraging (double) attrition in Burnsides's corp: -2 SP
-1 SP each in Cincinnati and in Cairo

You're up for PC and Attrition
148 8/20/2021 10:55:00 AM Spring 1862 Union Message Now read this rule about LOC and supply:
8.1 Lines of Communication
A unit is “in supply” if it has a Line of Communication (LOC). A unit has a LOC if it can trace a path of spaces to an ultimate sup-ply source. All spaces of the path *(except the space of the force)* must be friendly-controlled or neutral, and free of enemy SPs or forts.

I think that means that my 2SP in Delaware are in supply after all. What do you think?
147 8/20/2021 10:52:00 AM Spring 1862 Union Message That was a good move to cut off Burnside. Of course I'm not going to intercept out of DC.
146 8/20/2021 10:45:00 AM Spring 1862 Union Message I think you're right about river crossing. Another example of poor editing on Mark Herman's part: Why did he add that sentence about entering a space without a blue bar without saying something about exiting a space without a blue bar. I don't know. But the basic rule is that the blue bar represents the river and that crossing a blue bar is crossing a river. So I agree that what prevents you from going from Louisville to Bloomington is the blue bar in Louisville. Now, your way to overcome that is by building a fort, which represents the big guns that fend off the Union gunboats. Unfortunately, his rule about that is also sightly sloppy. It talks about the fort making it so "the Confederate player may cross any river connection (blue color bar) that leads into the space." "Leads into" makes it a little unclear. I take it to mean that you can cross either way. So If you want to invade across the Ohio, you build a fort in Louisville. If you want to invade across the Mississippi, you build a fort at St. Louis. The rule should say this: A blue bar represents a river crossing. Union naval control prevents Confederate units from using a crossing, but a Confederate fort in the space with the blue bar negates Union naval control over that crossing.
145 8/18/2021 6:11:00 PM Spring 1862 Confederate Play Strategy card as Operations #17: 3 / CSA Purchasing Agent
Confederate immediately receives three SPs in any open Blockade Runner Port, no more than one SP per port, but more than one SP per Blockade Zone is permitted. If insufficient ports are available, the excess SPs are lost.

Message from Confederate:
This is a nice event, but I'm using it to take the Army of N Virginia into Grafton to cut off Burnside's supplies
144 8/18/2021 6:02:00 PM Spring 1862 Confederate Message I read the river crossing rules again and I don't think I can cross the Ohio. My confusion originates from the note at the end of 6.2: "Entry into a space that lacks a blue bar is never considered crossing a river." This makes it sound like I could move Lee into Bloomington, which lacks a blue bar. However, I think that while I am allowed to move into Bloomington, I cannot leave Louisville.

Either player may move up to two infantry SPs from the same space as if they were led by a General. This move is a Corps move and may enter enemy controlled spaces because the SPs are moving as if they are led by a general.

So here's the correction.
Burnside goes to Harper's Ferry through Franklin, Strasburg, and Winchester.
132 6/16/2021 11:26:00 AM Spring 1862 Union Message Wait, I'm confused. You're not in Paducah. Did you have to retreat? I don't know your DRMs, so I don't know how many casualties you rolled on the table. But you're talking about rolling a modified 10, so I assume you scored 3 casualties. Didn't you win?

4: Flip PC in Frederick
5: Move back to DC

You may intercept there, although I doubt you'll want to.
