Have just drawn option C for the next conference. Good questions. Regarding the Arctic, if there aren't enough naval markers no new PA/CNs can be placed. Existing ones are unaffected (last bit of 7.4). Soviet front advance: the UK CN in Baltic States is safe for now but will be behind the front when the Soviets reach Prussia (see the example in 7.13). To save it I need to put a 2nd CN there, if I can. |
673 | 1/28/2023 8:24:00 AM | Turn 6 | United States | Message |
A few questions: >Still 3 Naval up in the Arctic but the Germans depleted the force by 2. What happens if Arctic falls below 3? Does the US marker go away in Baltic States now that front line has advanced into Ukraine? And does this apply to Netherlands too for British? |
672 | 1/27/2023 11:56:00 AM | Turn 6 | United Kingdom | Edit Provisional VPs |

Request: 10-sided die x 2 8 6 Message from United Kingdom: Pacific Map fronts (Far East not eligible for roll, Soviets need to have the appropriate issue in middle of table for this). 1. CBI to French Indo-China? Base 2 + 2 for OS so success on 1-4. 2. SW Pacific into PNG? Base 2 + 4 for OS - 2 for reserve = success on 1-4. Central Pacific? Base 2 - 2 for reserve so 0. No roll made. |
669 | 1/27/2023 11:33:00 AM | Turn 6 | United Kingdom | Message |
Italy surrenders so remove the Italian reserve. |

Request: 10-sided die x 3 2 2 6 Message from United Kingdom: European Front rolls. 1. Western into Lowlands? Base 2 + 6 for OS - 4 for Axis reserves = 4. So 1-4 needed to advance. 2. Med. 2 + 2 - 2 = 2. 1-2 needed to enter Southern Italy. 3. Eastern into Belorussia? 2 + 22 OS - 4 reserves = 20!!! This modifies the roll by +10 so breakthrough is automatic. |
666 | 1/27/2023 11:10:00 AM | Turn 6 | United Kingdom | Message |
It goes to PNG. Note I have changed 2 US placed markers to OS which must have been the intention whenever we did this. |

Request: 6-sided die x 1 6 Message from United Kingdom: Japan has 4 army reserves and a fleet. 2. Two to Manchuria 3. Marianas is a B29 space so one there 4. IJN roll removes a naval marker in Central Pacific if the first roll is a 1-2 5. IF roll above this as 1-2 a 1-4 then eliminates the IJN piece 6. 1 reserve marker left. Last roll sends it 1-2 Cent Pac, 3-4 SW Pac and 5-6 CBI |

Request: 6-sided die x 1 6 Message from United Kingdom: Soviets won the A-Bomb issue so automatically advance the red pawn to the final box on the track. I take this as meaning they have totally effective spies in the Manhattan Project. Then there is an unmodified roll and the blue pawn will advance to Hanford on a 4-6. |
652 | 1/25/2023 3:48:00 AM | Turn 6 | United Kingdom | Message |
A-Bomb then Global Issue then Clandestine networks. I'll roll for the first as there is no discretion. Then I do the middle as I won that issue and kick off the third as I have the most due to winning the 1/3 Pol-Mil. |

649 | 1/6/2023 5:05:00 PM | Turn 6 | United Kingdom | Message |
Bah, no. One has to go to Med so CBI down to 1. |
648 | 1/6/2023 5:04:00 PM | Turn 6 | United Kingdom | Message |
UK production as advertised: 2 CBI and 1 to activate the Pol-Mil Issue. 3 more markers for winning European Theatre Leadership and one for then having it so those 3 go on the W Front. |
647 | 1/4/2023 6:41:00 AM | Turn 6 | United States | Message |
I have 6 (minus 1 for V2/2 =5) production 4 go to Russian Front. I have 1 for Pacific control ( so 2 left) - I'll put the 2 in New Guinea |
646 | 1/4/2023 6:19:00 AM | Turn 6 | United Kingdom | Message |
If I put 3 into W Front, the strength will be 8. Germans will have at least 2 reserves, so strength 4. Average rolls will see one more reserve added (could be none could be 3). If one, the net strength will be 2 so a 1 in 5 chance of advancing. |
645 | 1/2/2023 9:26:00 PM | Turn 6 | United States | Message |
>USA markers might therefore go into the Pacific? do you think you have enough for Western front without US Help here to move the marker into Lowlands? |
644 | 1/2/2023 5:21:00 PM | Turn 6 | United Kingdom | Message |
Correction. Can't add. "...I will then get TWO more markers for winning European Theatre Leadership and one for then having it so those 3 will go on the W Front..." |
643 | 1/2/2023 5:19:00 PM | Turn 6 | United Kingdom | Message |
Small file sent. If Soviets are putting all production to E Front, USA can go next. I have not placed them. Bob gets 5 OS or Naval markers for the 5 Production plus 1 for Pacific Theatre. 4 markers need to go to E Front due to Soviets winning those 2 Issues. Looking ahead, my 3 Production will turn into 2 CBI and 1 to activate the Pol-Mil Issue. I will then get 3 more markers for winning European Theatre Leadership and one for then having it so those 3 will go on the W Front for the advance from Normandy. The 2 USA markers might therefore go into the Pacific? |
642 | 1/2/2023 5:07:00 PM | Turn 6 | United Kingdom | Message |
Correction Soviets +1 more so =5 for Arctic Theatre having enough ships. |
641 | 1/2/2023 5:06:00 PM | Turn 6 | United Kingdom | Message |
I think it tidies all cards up. Production: UK base 4 -1 V1/2 = 3 Soviets base 3 +1 Murmansk = 4 USA base 6 -1 V1/2 = 5 |

Yes, Stalin card goes back my hand, but I don't know if the cleanup routine does that automatically. Sorry for the delay again, whatever this is has put me back in bed again. I'm allocating both the DOs to the Eastern Front (big surprise I'm sure), and it won't need any of your spies to figure out that I'll also be spending all my production on putting offensive support there as well. Please put the DOs in place for me and carry on with the turn, I hope to be back with the game (and also with Corrupt Bargain) tomorrow. |

Issues won: UK 3, Sov 3, USA 2. Going to the 4.5 tiebreaker the USA, having not used Roosevelt in the Conference the USA decides whether Soviets of UK win this. See 4.52, USA would decide under 4.53 also if it came to that. |

I also get another OS on the Eastern front for playing him an a DO issue. Back to the UK to advance an issue. USSR is now out of cards so will not be debating anything. |
