The A-Bomb research marker stays in the Oak Ridge space this turn. Next up, I think, is the War Phase which starts with placement of Clandestine Networks. UK activated the Pol-Mil issue they won so they place first. USSR and USA each only have 1 cn to place (I think) so USA gets to decide which of places next after the UK. |

329 | 5/4/2022 2:57:00 AM | Turn 3 | United Kingdom | Message |
Bob you need to change the naval markers in Solomon Islands and Southern Italy to the gun OS ones. Those make advances more likely. The naval ones make them possible in certain spaces if there are enough of them. We are now on the extra production for theatre leadership, 6.9. European TL was not an issue, so UK gets 1 OS or Naval for that. Pacific TL was an issue and the USA won it. Assuming the USA keeps that theatre leadership (6.92) they get 3 more markers, 1 under 6.91 and 2 under 6.92. Whatever Bob decides to do, I'll place mine as an OS marker (the guns) in the UK. That front needs to shift. Bob might like to devote at least some of his 3 markers to that. No file sent. Bob please place my OS marker and then place/adjust yours. |
328 | 5/1/2022 7:11:00 AM | Turn 3 | United States | Message |
I have to place 2 Offensive markers each on Med & Burma due to directed offensive. I already have 1 in Solomons so I'll add 1 more there Final one will go to Britain to start invasion process. I was a bit confused with Offensive and Naval markers but the count should be correct. |

USSR allocates all four production to offensive support, placing another four OS on the Eastern Front. |
326 | 4/30/2022 1:31:00 AM | Turn 3 | United Kingdom | Message |
UK had 4 markers. Two had to go to E Front becoming OS markers 1 went to the 1/3 Pol-Mil 1 to W Europe as a Naval marker In the file I move an OS from W Europe to E Europe. |
325 | 4/30/2022 1:23:00 AM | Turn 3 | United Kingdom | Message |
Correct. I was acting as if they required one and not two markers. |
324 | 4/27/2022 11:14:00 PM | Turn 3 | Soviet Union | Message |
I'm a little confused, I thought you placed the *US* DO in the CBI? I certainly placed the UK DO on the Eastern Front, and that requires you to place two offensive support markers there (see 6.7, 2nd para) before you spend production on anything else. |
323 | 4/27/2022 2:19:00 AM | Turn 3 | United Kingdom | Message |
UK allocates 1 to the 1/3 Pol-Mil. 2 to W Europe 1 to E Europe due to Directed Offensive placed there (log starts it in CBI which I correct). Might as well convert to markers so W Europe gets 1 Naval and 1 OS marker, E Europe 1 OS Marker. |
322 | 4/27/2022 2:10:00 AM | Turn 3 | United Kingdom | Message |
Calculation production. UK then places first. UK stays at base 4 Sov base 3 + 1 Arctic has 3+ Naval = 4 USA base 6 + 1 Strategic Materials [conf card mandates 1 to S W Pacific] = 7 |

Stated advantages per 3.32: UK bonus in agenda phase so playing a high card should guarantee or boost chances of winning it. At the cost of a card you might want to use later of course. IN the middle level card stakes it means that if others play low or medium the UK probably wins. USA tiebreaker. Of course all the individual character cards have their advantages, quirks and disadvantages. UK card 3: Cripps moves UK production 5+1 for bonus from middle to 6 spot on UK track. |
