Message from Union:
Sorry, I completely missed "Jackson" in the activation.

I have to try and intercept you at Culpepper. Success on 1-4
240 6/26/2022 12:58:00 PM Summer 1862 Confederate Message Oh I see what's going on:

I thought ANV was forced to stop after the combat at Strasburg. If I was allowed to continue then I would convert Strasburg and then possibly do something else -- but I didn't outnumber you 2-to-1 so I don't think I could continue, right?

Meanwhile my recent move was activating Jackson's corps at Hanover and then going to Gordonsville and now Culpeper, so that's the first two MP of potentially 8.
239 6/26/2022 11:53:00 AM Summer 1862 Union Message Armies can move 6. I think you are out of MP. Let me know if I'm missing something.

1. Hanover

6. Gordonsville
238 6/26/2022 10:16:00 AM Summer 1862 Confederate Message I was going step by step partially because I haven't fully committed to a plan yet :)

2. Drop 1 SP off at Gordonsville and continue to Culpeper
Intercept?
237 6/26/2022 9:29:00 AM Summer 1862 Union Message No luck. Back to you.

210 6/20/2022 10:39:00 AM Summer 1862 Confederate Message When reading up on how to compute retreat-before-combat die rolls I came across 7.22 -- apparently since my "corps" has already lost a combat in this movement round I can automatically retreat w/o a die roll, so I will retreat to Memphis.

176 6/16/2022 10:00:00 PM Spring 1862 Confederate Message (Actually if I'm successful at Lebanon and have an army of size 5 remaining, then I'll leave 2 behind at Lebanon and proceed to Bowling Green with 3 -- so that I'll probably end at strength 2 and eke out a minor attrition gain)
175 6/16/2022 9:54:00 PM Spring 1862 Confederate Play Strategy card as Operations #81: 3 / Emancipation Proclamation - Reshuffle/Remove
Either player must play this card as an EC on the Strategy Round immediately following a Union large or medium battle victory. Confederate loses 10 SW and 3 SPs (his choice). Union loses 5 SW. Flip GT marker to its Emancipation Proclamation side. Card must be the last one played by a player at which time it can be played as an OC card. If the play of this card as an OC results in a battle victory, there is no Emancipation Proclamation Remove from deck if event is played. If this card is played as an OC or discarded re-shuffle deck at the end of the Strategy Phase.

Message from Confederate:
I *think* that if the guys at Nashville and Bowling Green don't have LOC/Supply, then they don't flip the PC markers (and don't burn Nashville). If I'm correct, then this is my move:

Army of Tennessee (6 SP)
1. Clinton
2. Somerset
3. Convert Somerset
4. Lebanon (intercept?) - Battle
5. Convert Lebanon.
6. (Stop)

Assuming I am allowed to continue after Lebanon battle, you can mark Lebanon converted for me. I will then stop & not proceed further.
174 6/16/2022 3:21:00 PM Spring 1862 Union Message Change that. I'll make Lee work for it.

Activate Buell
Pick up 1 SP in Nashville, drop off 1 in Bowling Green, and Lebanon, retreat remaining 3 SPs into the fort at Louisville.
173 6/16/2022 3:13:00 PM Spring 1862 Union Play Strategy card as Operations #103: 3 / Seven Days/Chattanooga
Either player may move 2 SPs using Strategic Movement from the same space using rail connections only (10 space maximum) to the same space with a General who is then activated and must attempt to enter a space with at least one or more enemy SPs or fort. OR play this card as an automatic 2 space interception. Intervening space must be friendly controlled and free of enemy SPs. The intervening space may be the one just exited by the moving enemy force. No Generals or SPs may be picked up or dropped off during the intercept.

Message from Union:
Death comes to Kentucky through the Cumberland Gap.

Activate Buell

172 6/16/2022 10:21:00 AM Spring 1862 Confederate Play Strategy card as Operations #115: 2 / Galveston
The Confederate player may move 1 SP from a blockade runner port (open or closed) to its associated ungarrisoned Union controlled coastal fort (no Union SP present) and immediately place a Confederate PC marker (does not require a LOC) in the Coastal fort space. Remove from deck if event is played.

Message from Confederate:

171 6/15/2022 5:50:00 PM Spring 1862 Union Play Strategy card as Operations #47: 3 / CSA Recognizes KY, MO, MD and DE

169 6/15/2022 3:52:00 PM Spring 1862 Confederate Message Okay, I guess I will just solve this problem for Lee -- form Army of Tennessee
168 6/14/2022 11:24:00 PM Spring 1862 Union Message The hex would have to have your PC marker. SP doesn't help. Feel free to change your move.
167 6/14/2022 11:02:00 PM Spring 1862 Confederate Message Oh shoot if I was out of supply I wouldn't attack. I thought I could draw through the guy I left behind?
166 6/14/2022 9:12:00 PM Spring 1862 Union Message Actually, I think Lee is OOS during the attack. If so, the Union would have had another +2, making the Confederate corp lose one more SP. Make sense?
165 6/14/2022 9:08:00 PM Spring 1862 Union Message Confederate roll of 3 + 3 =6
Union roll of 6 + 1 = 7

Interception at Lynchburg by Rosencrans in Charlottesville on a "1".
145 6/9/2022 10:51:00 PM Spring 1862 Union Message US Fort marker in Charlottesville is in error. Looks like you sent me back my log file instead of your new one.
I will try to intercept Lee before he can get up to trouble in Lynchburg.
144 6/8/2022 3:40:00 PM Spring 1862 Confederate Message BTW one thing I'm trying to figure out is how there is a US Fort marker in Charlottesville since I don't see any log of it getting placed -- did that perhaps get accidentally dragged from somewhere else in a stack move?
