Sorry I was out of pocket. Tom, as far as the tournament is concerned Sven won this game a while ago - Losing the middle east was my failed morale check :) Thank you for some important lessons, Sven. Continuing will actually be interesting, but as you could tell, recently I became much busier at work with less time to devote to this, so out of respect for *your* time I'll pass on your generous offer. I definitely learned a lot about using SR strategically, and like you said Sven, combining nations (GE+AH, also FR+IT, IT+SB etc.) to achieve goals on the map. And I'll have to remember to try and roll better :P |

Actually, (GE5) needs to retreat one step further. It could be a good thing though, as RU1 and RU11 in any case will halt their advance in Szawli. I will finish the turn and draw new cards, but we should wait with rolling for MO:s and you should wait with drawing new cards until you have announced your retreat. And since you are going to announce the retreat, you might as well do the MO dice roll. |

No need to exchange complete board standings I think. But, combat Riga-Szawli I'm afraid I had one of my lucky strikes again... A 6dr on table 9A is a 7LN for Szawli. Little comfort that Szawli caused a 5LN on Riga. Assuming flip of GE5 and elimination of both GEc. RU12 is eliminated and replacement corps (3,0) is flipped. There will be advancement, most probably RU1 and RU11 to Szawli. Awaiting to announce until you have revealed your retreat. The combat still being unresloved, there will be attritions: Cluj, Debrecen, Schossburg, Hermannstadt and Kronstadt are now under CP control. VP to 10 Spaces in Turkey, except Medina, Gaza, Beersheba, Aqaba, Trebisond and Erzerum are now under AP control.
