Sorry for all the delays, although I agree that the main delaying factor by far was the time difference. You played really well too, and kept me on my toes all game. 557 11/2/2022 7:42:00 AM Spring 1917 Central Powers Message Hi Michael, hope you are well. I believe Edgar has caused a majority of the delays, although I have caused some too and most were the result of time zone difference.

However, my board position is not good, having lost Sedan, Muncacs, and only just having taken Belgrade, and not made any progress against the Russians yet. While I do not think it is impossible for me to win from this point, I think it is unlikely, so I will resign and give Edgar the win.

I have a few things going on irl at the moment, so I think actually I need to drop out of the tourney altogether. I hope that is OK and hopefully I'll be in a better position in a few years time when the next tourney starts!

Thanks for the game anyway Edgar, you played really well and deserve the win!
