Yes. I’ll inform Jeff. That move in the Middle East is interesting. I had a player attempt that on me in a game just before we played and I thought it a good idea. But I ended up SRing BRC from Basra to preserve Egypt. I think your mistake was leaving the Cairo trench. They are surprisingly still hard to conquer without the Turks committing a lot of units. But I also think you played a lot of RP cards earlier in the game that weren’t really being fully utilised. I try to play RPs only if I can maximise the recovery of units. Typically I try to force the CP to play one or two RP cards each turn from turn 8 onwards. Thanks for the game. |

Well - game is over now, when Baku falls..... I cannot prolong the suffering anymore :) Fun game - but a little too desperate the last many turns... Several new situations came up in this game... I made a big mistake attacking Sinai with you having Kemal (and rolling a 6).. I probably could have hold out in Egypt with a full stack of BR corps there.. The situation with LLoyd George and French Mutiny on 2 following turns was another turning point.. The Germans could have collapsed without that combo - and I probably should have taken the VP penalty for french mutiny to keep up the pressure on the shaking german front... Well thnx for playing...
