1175 11/28/2022 11:46:00 AM Summer 1918 Allies Message Good game. I love how fast you play. Let's the game get really engaging instead of trying to remember once every few days what was happening.

I learned a lot from watching you play CP. I had a hard time dealing with all of the GE armies in the east for most of the game, and got lucky that the west front had a turn where you had crappy cards, I had great cards and my luck returned, and then you weren't able to play RPs.

I've definitely never seen the "refusal to go to TW" as a way of pounding Italy. That was very close to falling, I think. I was sure that I would get a huge advantage in the NE from you not being at TW, but I didn't. The NE fell, but only because you had to focus on the western front, not because you were late getting to TW. I don't know if I have the confidence to try that approach, but maybe on a social game. I love attacking Italy as CP. Plus when you were pounding Italy, it was so hard to even get SInai and Allenby out of my hand.

I really loved the WiA play. That was so annoying.

Hmmm, what else. Getting an easy T2 in Insterberg without even trying for it was huge. After the beginning, the cards almost always came in the right order for me. The beginning was rough, I think T3 I had 5 reinforcement cards or maybe 6, but after then it was steady and the right number of combat cards and a mix of card values. Except that one awful turn I played a bunch of 2s and you took Baku and pushed Russia to the brink.

A couple small changes, like Italy not stabilizing or Russia getting pushed off the ledge that it was on for a while, and this game would have swung the other way. Feel extremely lucky to have escaped with a win.

Thanks again for playing, really enjoyed it. If you're up for it, I'd love to play a social game sometime, maybe in a couple weeks once all of the work craziness is over.

The NE fell, but only because you had to focus on the western front, not because you were late getting to TW. I don't know if I have the confidence to try that approach, but maybe on a social game. I love attacking Italy as CP. Plus when you were pounding Italy, it was so hard to even get SInai and Allenby out of my hand. I really loved the WiA play. That was so annoying. Hmmm, what else. Getting an easy T2 in Insterberg without even trying for it was huge. After the beginning, the cards almost always came in the right order for me. The beginning was rough, I think T3 I had 5 reinforcement cards or maybe 6, but after then it was steady and the right number of combat cards and a mix of card values. Except that one awful turn I played a bunch of 2s and you took Baku and pushed Russia to the brink. A couple small changes, like Italy not stabilizing or Russia getting pushed off the ledge that it was on for a while, and this game would have swung the other way. Feel extremely lucky to have escaped with a win. Thanks again for playing, really enjoyed it. If you're up for it, I'd love to play a social game sometime, maybe in a couple weeks once all of the work craziness is over.
