Closer than you think, I think. Apart from the Italian blunder, you played a good game but, like chess, once one player gets an edge, the other is always playing catch up and reacting to events rather than dictating what, where and when things happen. Only major surprise for me was that you didn't play Zimm as the Yellow Event last turn to try and wrest the initiative. Difficult with the Seigfried Line all at T2, but continual hitting there, combined with stronger push in Palestine may have caused me headaches. You are now 1-1? if so, can still meet again in the final.... |

IMV, a trench roll should not override an online howler. The intent is that we try to recreate ftf action as far as is possible. It is difficult one though - should a failed trench roll be re-rolled? (IMV No!)...if it happens in a game I am playing I will allow a redo of the entire move. |
