Yes game goes rarely till the end in async. My russian performance was really really a poor one, but dice didn't help at all. Not that great performance in the NE-map hoh but at least things went better in Russia. And probably I was too lazy in WF. Would have helped enourmously had I just dug T2-line in Brussels-Sedan-Verdun-Nancy for example. Not sure if I could have won by going hard to Antwerp had I not drawn Blucher? I think that would have been my sole chance in that case. Extremely thrilling game! Felt I played the late game slobby but I think thats because it rarely goes to turn 20. |

And thankfully the threat of forcing retreat due to 7LF result wasnt there before your AP5 as it was then you moved (FRc) to Verdun to make jointed attack possible. I had activated AH1 + AH10 to move CP3 (log 739) so could have moved them to Frankfurt for example. On your uploaded file they are still sitting in Augsburg. So ok if instead of my last moves it was: M Verona: dig M Frankfurt: AH1 + AH10 -> Metz. Which would make it like I have it on my map and probably would be easiest way to fix. Maybe. |
