Union naval control of the Mississippi River is denied between Columbus, KY (fort) and coastal fort Fts St Philip/Jackson (New Orleans). This allows Confederates to freely cross Arkansas river at Little Rock. See also Example A on page 28 of the rules (I had to look it up). In all cases, I did movement by foot, not by river. I just did not write each individual space name, but did account for each with the movement number (i.e. Price going Clarksville-Little Rock is 1-2). For the Cumberland and Tennessee Rivers, "A Confederate fort or ironclad in Dover allows the Confederate player to freely move through the space and all up-river spaces on both rivers." In Commentary on page 26. Also, in section 6.62 Denial of Union Naval Control: "2. A fort or ironclad negates Union naval control between that point and all upriver spaces on the same river if the river originates from a Confederate State" - applicable for Dover negating control on Cumberland River. I'm just learning the rules, so no worries, had to research all of the above to figure it out myself. :) |

I think you can not make that moves. 1. Union rules on rivers. So you can not cross rever if you do not have fort on one side of river. So Price can not enter Little Rock. 2. You can not move little on foot and little on river 3. There was text on card one army can move on river (not 2 like you move it) 4. Polk on the same manner can not enter Dover from McKenzie if you do not have fort. I think rule was that CS can cross river between 2 forts. You have fort on South of river but not on the north. So, you need to bild fort first and then passing river. Maybe, I am wrong you can ask game master |
