255 10/18/2020 12:01:00 AM Spring 1863 Union 8 1 Event #8: 1 / 3 Cigars
Play this card to make an automatic one or two space interception. Intervening space must be friendly controlled and free of enemy SPs. The intervening space may be the one just exited by the moving enemy force. No Generals or SPs may be picked up or dropped off during intercept.

Message from Union:
I'm going to use this to intercept the AoNV in Gordonville as they come to assist Longstreet. I think that forces a battle? You only have 2SP so it may not be super-satisfying that way but it'll keep your leadership DRMs away for a bit anyway.

I think it's a medium battle, +4 Confederate, +1 Billion Union (+6 leader, +2 intercept, +4 odds), no leader loss for Union due to odds. But I'll let you confirm I've got everything right and resolve since you're the attacker.

BTW, for modifying the SW, there is a Will button in the top bar. It has a bunch of buttons for various bonuses/penalties and takes care of the momentum swings.

And these short burst are fine, plus I get to keep doing at least a little low-level gaming :) It's the longer stretches of sitting the computer that are really a problem when I'm flared up.

Not a lot I can do with a 1 at this point, so 1SP will detach from Curtis as a division move and go to Parkersburg.

Probably should have played this much earlier to block Johnston's move north, but hesitated on it. Plus the text is unclear about timing.
