Hi Nick, Not quite sure sure how there can be 3SP in Hanover after that battle. According to your reinforcement moves there's only 1SP starting the Fall turn in Hanover, with the the other 6 SPs (5 infantry + Stuart's cav bridade) in Richmond. If 3SP total intercepted with JJ and Stuart as indicated, that makes a total of 4 CSA SPs present for the battle. With the CSA suffering 2 casualties in their victory, shouldn't there should only be 2SP left in Hanover? |

Thanks Nick - I just read up on 8.3 and related discussion on BGG and can see now that my reading was incorrect. Thanks for the quick turnaround. |

Thanks Nick. Can I ask you a rules question before I continue my move? In my reading of the 8.1 and 8.12, if Buell's corps attacks Columbus from Paducah, he is in supply because he has an LOC through to Cairo? Is this correct? 8.1 'A unit is “in supply” if it has a Line of Communication (LOC). A unit has a LOC if it can trace a path of spaces to an ultimate supply source. All spaces of the path (except the space of the force) must be friendly-controlled or neutral, and free of enemy SPs or forts (exception: Riverine spaces under Union naval control)" 8.12 'The Union can trace along navigable rivers through friendly controlled or neutral spaces whether Union naval control is or is not denied. The Union can trace along navigable rivers through enemy controlled spaces (with or without an infantry or cavalry SP) where the Union has naval control." If the corps moves into Columbus it can trace an LOC back to Cairo, I believe? |
