491 4/23/2025 12:35:00 AM Summer 1864 Confederate Message Heya!

I think I did everything correctly.

I started with n5 in Salem. I left 1 troop (n4 AoW) so that the first fight (in Jonesborough was an auto 1*/1 with AoNVA having n3 after).

Then the fight in Cairo was a medium fight (6 troops total). CSA was +5, USA was +3 and combined with the 5 that CSA rolled, that meant that I wiped out the 3 USA troops in Cairo with a 3*/2 victory.

I'll have to check on the general portion of things, I didn't realize Hood was hiding under AJ on my map.
490 4/22/2025 10:35:00 PM Summer 1864 Union Message Regarding your last move of the turn. I think it works best for both of us. That your move stays, Army of 1 SP in Cairo and my 2 SPs in Ironton. But your Army of West is overstacked with generals. So, Pemberton to TT.

Let me know what you think.
489 4/22/2025 10:29:00 PM Summer 1864 Union Message Regarding the extra general in AoNV, Beauregard to TT with Bragg
488 4/22/2025 6:38:00 PM Summer 1864 Union Message Please reread step 475
I continued to Jonesborugh with 1 SP
Your intercept roll would have missed at either spot.
The first battle at Jonesbourh would be an automatic CSA win 1*/1
then, a follow up attack at Cairo where your battle roll would have cost the Army of the West 1 SP and USA 1, meaning USA still have 2 SP surviving to retreat to Ironton.

What do you want to do?

CSA +8
410 4/6/2025 8:09:00 AM Fall 1863 Union Play Strategy card as Operations #8: 1 / 3 Cigars
Play this card to make an automatic one or two space interception. Intervening space must be friendly controlled and free of enemy SPs. The intervening space may be the one just exited by the moving enemy force. No Generals or SPs may be picked up or dropped off during intercept.

Message from Union:
Got it, missed step 390.

Activate AoC in Hanover, leave 1, n1
1-2 Gordonsville and PC it
3. Charlottesville, drop 1, n1
4. Gordonsville
5. Hanover, pick up 1, n0
6. Attack Richmond with 9 SP at USA +5
409 4/5/2025 11:37:00 PM Fall 1863 Confederate Message I updated the SP on 390 though so that AoW had n7, and AoNVA has n6

408 4/5/2025 6:30:00 PM Fall 1863 Union Message You are over counted for Paducah. You only had 6 to start with, not 7. On step 389 you listed Paducah as 6. So, either decrease Paducah by one or Salem by one.
407 4/5/2025 4:53:00 PM Fall 1863 Confederate Play Strategy card as Operations #28: 1 / Franz Sigel
Union immediately receives one SP in St. Louis, MO space if no Confederate SPs or fort are present, whether it is controlled by either side or neutral; OR Confederate plays card at the beginning of a battle and receives a +2 DRM in the battle.

Message from Confederate:
Activate AoW. Leave Pemberton and n2 in Paducah (n5 move)

1 - Dover. Pick up Forrest. n6 in AoW
2 - Paducah
3 - Cairo
4 - Jonesborough
5 - Salem
6 - End in Salem with n6
406 4/5/2025 4:51:00 PM Fall 1863 Confederate Message Yep, that all makes sense. I wanted to confirm you still were happy with your move with the small adjustment to positioning. Glad you are
405 4/5/2025 3:43:00 PM Fall 1863 Union Message Sorry, got those locations backwards.
But same result. I would have moved to Springfield with 10 SP first, and Smith failed the evasion roll. So, I would have drop 1 SP in Springfield and 1 in Bloomington and ended in Decatur with 8.
404 4/5/2025 2:41:00 PM Fall 1863 Confederate Message I think you need to adjust your move slightly. Smith was in Springfield (not Bloomington)
403 4/5/2025 12:37:00 PM Fall 1863 Union Message Overrun at Bloomington, Smith to TT
Drop 1 in Bloomington, n1
5. Springfield, drop 1, n1
6. Decatur, n8

401 4/5/2025 12:34:00 PM Fall 1863 Union Play Strategy card as Operations #74: 2 / Political Crisis
The Union player may remove or demote one Union general for no SW cost. The cost for promoting a general with a lower political value still applies. OR remove ANY Union non-commanding general (even second in commands) from the game.

Message from Union:

1. PC in Decatur, drop 1, n1
2. Urbana, pickup 1, n0
3. Decatur pickup 1, n0
4. Bloomington with 10 SP
