Yes, correct. Tricky wording on the card made me forget that it is an actually an event play. Also, I don’t know the ‘reaction’ cards good enough to assume that everything pans out the way I log it, so was just waiting to adjust Union SW. Thanks for taking care of it. |

F. Lee is a cavalry unit and, therefore, already intrinsically includes 1sp. Jackson intercepts with 1sp from F. Lee and 5sp, for a total of 6sp. Make sense? |

#433 reads Jackson, F. Lee and 5sp intercept into New Madrid, which succeeded. So 5 CSA sp in New Madrid before the 1 loss from the battle, leaves 4sp. So I have 2sp in Elizabeth and Jackson, F. Lee, and 4sp in New Madrid post battle. |

Let's double-check: At the start of the turn, Elizabeth had 3sp and Humboldt had 4sp. On CSA1, Jackson picks up 4sp from Humboldt and returns to Elizabeth (n7). When he intercepts the AoM he has to leave 1sp in Elizabeth and attempts interception with 6sp. He lost 1sp in combat, so it seems like he has 5sp left, without another 1sp nearby in Elizabeth. Sounds like Jackson with 5sp in New Madrid is correct, then he forms the Army. Am I missing anything? |

Hi Mike, > result=1/3. Jackson wins, n5. I had Jackson starting with 5sp pre-battle, so only 4 post-battle, even in the win. I believe that would prevent the formation of AoM on your subsequent play, as Jackson now has only 4sp. Pleasanton replaced by Kilpatrick who goes to Turn 11 on track. Please advise. |
