When you offered for me to surrender at first I was shocked and then when I really looked at the map I wasn't shocked. I was able to hold the line on the game state but unable to change the dynamic of the game. Your whole Anaconda strategy worked like a charm I must say. |

In your own way you did things the same way I do. If one area was loaded up with units you went in a different direction. The difference in my mind was that I thought you had enough strength for example to take Tennessee and you stopped. I do not think you ever attacked Memphis or maybe attacked it once. There were other times during the game where I thought you could have finished me off in an area and changed the dynamic of the game, instead you were like a creeping infestation that slowly squeezed the life out of it's victim.Hey it worked |

It would be two rounds of Blockade Running rolls, so that would be 8 SW. And I think Alabama is about to fall, so that would be another 7. The best hope likely would be a Hail Mary attack on DC. |

#100: 3 / Shiloh Confederate Player may move 5 SPs using Strategic Movement (rail connections only) to the same space with a Confederate General who is then activated and must attempt to enter a space with at least one or more Union SPs or fort. #30: 3 / Glory Hallelujah Union immediately receives three SPs for raising Negro troops. The SPs can be placed in any Union controlled space (even one without a LOC) that doesn’t contain a Confederate SP or fort. Message from Union: AotC moves to Augusta and leaves 1, to Branchville and leaves 2, then to Charleston and flags it. The Charleston resource space is destroyed causing the Confederates to lose 3 SW and another 3 SW for changing fortunes (down to 27- from 33+) and the Union to gain 3 SW and another 2 SW for changing fortunes (up to 117+ from 112-). |

Augusta is a Large Battle (15v6) +7drm Union (+7 generals) +9drm Confederates (+4 generals, +2 interception, +2 OOS, +1 Elite) Union loses 5* to 6#. The Elite unit is removed. Union rolled a modified 9, whereas the Confederates rolled a modified 10. Hence there is a chance of general casualties. The Union is OOS so the Confederates is immune, but the Union has a chance on a roll because of the Confederates' modified 10 roll. |

I just updated the map (after your Hanover move, but before my last card play). Could you confirm it looks correct? |

William You made a very rare mistake with the map. AONV is in Hanover, not Richmond. |

#24: 3 / Pre-War Treachery Confederate may place up to two forts in any friendly controlled spaces with a LOC free of Union SPs and forts. Remove from deck if event is played. Message from Union: Halleck +2 to Chambersburg and pick up 2, to Gettysburg and pick up 2, to Manassas and drop off 1, to Strasburg and drop off 1, to Culpeper and drop off 1, to Gordonsville and drop off 2 to Charlottesville. The fort in Manassas is removed, causing the Confederates to lose 1 SW and another 3 SW for changing fortunes (down to 49- from 53+) and the Union to gain 1 SW and another 2 SW for changing fortunes (up to 103+ from 100-). |

Pleasanton or his replacement comes back next turn. I think we decided to play the same rules that is used at the WBC. Same for the Confederate General. Why do I think the Confederate casuality comes back in 3 turns. |

The AoNV loses the Elite marker, being that they lost more than 1 SP in the battle. And the Confederates gain 3 SW for winning a large battle and another 2 SW for changing fortunes (up to 53+ from 48-), while the Union loses 5 SW (down to 100- from 105-). |
