Emancipation proclamation on 1st Union hand toghether with other 3OPS card and no campaigns in the CSA hand is one of the worst possible openings. The only one worse is that the Emancipation is in CSA hand :) We can try another one without switching sides maybe this time it will be better :)

But there was no way for me to deal with Emancipation proclamation in Turn 1. It's a miracle that I was still alive in Fall 1864... Moreover, I made several mistakes.
