Agreed on all counts. It was a hard-fought game, but has tilted toward CP. Can we play on RTT? Just the headache of keeping maps synched is a big deal. were you able to figure out move/combat with the interface? |

Hi David, Looking at the position I think it's hopeless for AP. Nothing now to stop Bol Rev. I am happy to play the game out if you prefer, otherwise we could sart another (same sides?). I have always had a good record with CP, but pretty poor with AP. However, I think another approach to the AP will hopefully change the chances of AP success. Let me know what you think. |

messages are a weakness in RTT, because it doesn't give a visual cue that you have a message. I use the chat bubble from the menu bar on the top left. I wish it told you there is a message waiting. I've missed some, in the time they were relevant. |

the interface does take some getting used to. the sequence is: hover over a card, which produces a dropdown of possible uses for the card: operations, RP, Redeploy, event. pick ops. then when using ops you must hover/select move/attack for the number of stacks you can activate. you must do all moves before any attacks. left click on the area, which causes the units to spread for selection. click the ones you want to move together one at a time. they will stay in place but turn at an angle to show they are selected. all the areas that are 1 legal movement point away will highlight. you must execute your movement path one area at a time. when you move your selected stack it will highlight those available for the next movement point. when you are out of mp, or click on the hex you are already in, it ends the move for tho selected units. you must make a decision for all the units in a hex activated for movement before it will let you start another. if you are leaving a unit in the area it started, select it and click in the same hex. after all movement, you can do attacks. select all that are attacking together, including across multiple hexes included in the same attack, before clicking on the target hex. they will also tilt to show they are selected. let me know if this helped. it's not my turn so I wasn't able to verify this as I'm describing it. the first step, to get a menu for ops/SR/etc, could be a left click to bring up the menu. |
