Hi Paul, hope your travels went well. i can start a friendly new game any time. i cannot delete our previous (ladder) game. only you can. any preference on sides? i certainly don't feel very strongly but all things being equal, i would play AP again to see if i cannot do better in a new match. (i'm playing Jeff Lewis in a friendly game, and he too is smashing my AP.) regards from Maine - robert |

hey Paul - hope the balls bounced in good directions out on the course. i suggest we start after you return from your trip up country. we can take some days off in the meanwhile. can you shoot me a note upon your return and we'll start our friendly rematch? note: the madness of booze-filled foreigners abusing a festival doesn't sound all bad ..... |

yes, deck management was a problem throughout the game. got very strange hands the first several turns - all reinforcements on hand after several hands of no reinforcements. your perspective on the FR MO is interesting. in fact, i would enjoy just a friendly game if you have time. maybe i will learn the difference b/t Amiens and C-T, not that it really mattered much. Your NE map gambit sealed your win. |

Thanks Robert. If I can offer a couple of insights fro my perspective - your tactical game is good, but your deck management seemed strange. Holding multiple cards while playing CCs as OPs really slows down cycling through your deck to get to (and play) important cards - both for the benefits and to weed out the weak cards (eg my play of Limon purely to get rid of 2OP card). In your shoes I would also probably have given up at least one FR MO. I will rarely attack at very disadvantageous odds as I feel they can decimate your troops while leaving the enemy intact and strong enough to exploit the weakness you have created yourself. Happy to go again if you want to play a friendly |

Hi Paul - on last round of battles in CP1.
