Understand. Dont think Hood and team would make much difference over the course of the turn. Think we should call it here. Thanks for the game. |

Hi Eric, the game is not technically over because a 3/3* result is a CSA win, as the resource space allows you to ignore the * result. So Richmond holds with an empty fort. That said, I don't see a way the CS can hold Richmond for the rest of the turn. Hood's force can easily bust through to re-garrison it but then I will just keep whacking Richmond round after round. So we can either play it out or leave it there, at your option. Either way, thanks for a most enjoyable game. I think I was lucky with dice and campaign cards at critical times. |

I am not familiar with that rule. I think the rule is as follows, but please let me know if you know of another. 5.7 Movement into Enemy Spaces 5.71 WHO MAY ENTER: An Army, Corps, Division or Cavalry Brigade move with at least 1 SP may attempt to enter a space containing enemy SPs. A general without any accompanying strength points may not enter a space containing an enemy general, fort or SPs. |

I think that move breaks the rule that a general cannot move alone through enemy controlled spaces. |
