After activating the units, I move on to movements and declaring battle hexes. CA Takao moves from 2909 to Manila 2813 and declares a battle hex along with the 5AD located at 2812. The 14th army moves overland from 2812 to 2813 for the upcoming ground combat. 21st AF at 2909 Tainan moves the first leg to 2812 and the second long-range leg to 2915 Davao, declaring a battle hex at 2616 Tarakan, along with CA Nachi and the 16th army, who also move with AA from 2915 Davao to 2616. 22AF moves one leg from 2212 Saigon to 1913 Kuala Lumpur and declares a battle hex at 2014 Kuantan.
