My method is that I roll the number of die equal to the generals I'm placing and make them 999 sided dice, each die roll is assigned to the generals based on their alphabetical order and I name the locations and say the generals will be placed in order based on lowest to the first location, so for example: Placing 3 generals: Beau Bragg Smith Assign numbers in order, then place them low to high to match Dover Columbus Manassas Then I'll look at the rolls and explain where they went. So if I get: 877 129 546 then Beau would go to Manassas Bragg would go to Dover Smith would go to Columbus To be clear that was just an example. I'll let you place generals and then I will. |

Welcome to ACTS and good luck! CSA will not be campaigning. We will likely want to exchange our Vassal files on a regular basis (at least at the end of each season) to make sure that we're in sync. I can handle the dice rolling mechanic at first, which is used for battles and for randomly placing generals. |
