Dover is NOT out of supply...supplied via the Ohio & Cumberland Rivers. The Tenneessee River is "bared" from Yankee influence via the fort at Paducah. Hallect able to go into Dover and Fremont able to leave. Are you ok with my assessment? Don't want to generate any bad feelings and uncomfortableness |

Can out of supply armies receive Generals? They are able to lose them, though. 8.3 Out-of-Supply Effects Armies without a LOC cannot receive reinforcements or generals. The problem would be Hallec's way to Dover. |

#105: 1 / Detached Cavalry Played prior to a battle against an army possessing one or more cavalry brigades. The ONLY effects are the Army’s Commanding General’s battle rating (offense or defense) is immediately reduced by 2 and no Cavalry general’s battle ratings may be used in the battle. The effects end at the conclusion of the battle. Cavalry generals are not available for casualty determination. OR: Place one PC marker in any space within four spaces (includes river connections) of a single cavalry brigade. The four space range many not be traced through Northeast Alabama. The space may not contain an enemy SP or fort, but may contain an Ironclad or Torpedoes. Message from Union: Re-organize the command staff: Fremont moved from Dover to Cinncy MacClellan (little Mac) from Cinncy to AoPot Buell from AoPot to Cinncy Halleck from Cinncy to Dover Pope from AoPot to WDC Apologize for all this...I must say, you are one of the most intriguing players I have ever played in this game...very happy that you asked me to play! |

Yes, Dover is out of supply via the Tenneessee River side...so Rebs may move from Paducah and McKenzie into Dover...BUT NOT via the Cumberland side...which is Yankee control. So Clarksville & Nashville are both still interdicted to Reb movement across. See the example on page 27. |

ok, one other issue... I led you astray...the North ATL blockader cannot come in thru Norfolk...Fort Monroe is blocking its entry. Norfolk, good. Blockaders need to go to ports...not forts. So, will need to bring a reinforcement into Florida to get the SP into Fort Gadsen. Then the Bloackader into Columbus or Mobile |

Ah, yes, I was staring at ports in the right zones, but of course they need the red arrow. In a brief stroke of madness I thought the red arrow was connecting forts with harbours. Move Acquia Creek to Norfolk and I had actually put East Gulf into Fort Gadson. Isn't that allowed to place it in the relevant fort? |

#28: 1 / Franz Sigel Union immediately receives one SP in St. Louis, MO space if no Confederate SPs or fort are present, whether it is controlled by either side or neutral; OR Confederate plays card at the beginning of a battle and receives a +2 DRM in the battle. Message from Confederate: Useless card in first round. 1 sp in Mobile rails to Dover. Now 2 SPs there. |

This is the most ambiguious area of the game... Read page 45, section 18... The results 1 - 1 & 1 - 1* results are what the circumstancesare in this case... Yanks in Fort Jackson with 1SP...the other is destroyed. |

If I understand this correctly, I have +2 for fortress and your +4 for size which nets down to +2 for you. You need 2+ to win and I need 2+ to inflict 1 casuality on you? |

#101: 3 / Chickamauga Confederate Player may move 5 SPs using Strategic Movement (rail connections only) to the same space with a Confederate General who is then activated and must attempt to enter a space with at least one or more Union SPs or fort. If a general casualty occurs in a battle caused by this card, the Commanding General is eligible, this is an exception to the rules. See 4.5. Message from Union: 2SPs leave WDC (n3) to Amphib assault Fort Jackson (Louisiana) |

Great...nice to see you here and things are ready to go! As the Rebs, you have the option of going first this season if you want to play a campaign card. If no campaign card play, the Yanks will go first. Would you like to campaign, SUH? |
